Includes invitation, 27 Dec. 1817, to a ball at Mr. Kibbe's Assembly-Room on New Year's Day, 1818; notice of stock subscription meeting by commissioners of the Niagara, Cattaraugus and Chautauque Turnpike & Bridge Company, 1 Sept. 1819; two tickets to a steam-boat party on the Walk-in-the-Water, 26 Sept. 1820; circular with handwritten note offering his self-nomination as delegate to the state constitutional convention, 22-29 May 1821; two newspaper clippings on Moulton and the convention; two letters to Moulton, one from Philip S. Parker, Albany, regarding the opposition of two of Daniel D. Tompkins' supporters to extending the Erie Canal to the west, 2 Apr. 1820, the other from John Root, Buffalo, concerning Root's efforts to obtain the office of commissioner, 8 Jan. 1823; and manuscript map drawn by Moulton in 1862 of Buffalo as he remembered it between 1816 and 1822. Also two letters concerning the map and the other papers, addressed to the corresponding secretary of the Buffalo Historical Society, 1862, 1863.
